January 20-28 2026

As January 26 approaches, the WEALTHBACK campaign (20-28 January 2026) invites you to redistribute wealth as an ongoing practice of solidarity with First Nations people.

In so-called "Australia", wealth accumulation cannot be separated from the colonisation of First Nations peoples and lands. This theft created the foundations for wealth that continues to compound across generations through resource extraction, land ownership, access to capital, and inheritance.

These systems of colonialism and racial capitalism have created a wealth gap between First Nations and non-Indigenous people that persists today.

We call on you to redistribute wealth as a necessary and ongoing act of repair.

Move beyond recognition into redistribution.

Show solidarity in two steps:

1. Redistribute $5 or more per week

Make wealth redistribution part of your ongoing solidarity with First Nations people starting this January 26.

2. Ask 5 friends to join you

Copy the link and share it with 5 people, inviting them to take action alongside you.
