Our activities
Supporting Mob
Our program that works with local mob as they face the worst sides of the colony i.e. police brutality and/or missing persons cases. We provide assistance, supports and referrals to families to help them fight for justice for their family member. We have supported 'Big Brotha of 0830' and are now working with the 'Bring Jayo Home campaign' and the 'Find Jafar Croker campaign.'
Double Up Youth Nights
Our youth nights program with that is more than a fun night with a feed. In our very own Billawook Gurinyi Community Center, we facilitate the bringing together of Young People, Elders and local musicians to have a feed together, learn from one another and create. The program also offers the potential for young people to engage in further training and learning to get jobs in the local arts industry in Darwin. Not only do we keep kids off the street on a Friday night, but we are building a cooler more creative community in Darwin.
Walk With Us Cultural Tours
Our tour is for everyone from our Young People we work with to our neighbours and peers. This program is an opportunity for you to learn more about Kulumbirigin country and culture. This experience is authentic - taking place in Ludmilla - you feel like you take these stories home with you. Our program has been used as Cultural Development training for organisations. The profits from this service allow us to fund our other programs.
