Our impact

Junkuri Laka's impact radiates across multiple fronts. The organisation empowers Aboriginal communities to define healing on their own terms, guiding family violence support through local decision-making models rooted in community authority. Culture forms the backbone of Junkuri Laka's behavior change programs, drawing on cultural strength to build genuine safety for Aboriginal children, people, families, and communities.

The organisation develops culturally informed resources that deepen understanding across Aboriginal services, organisations, and communities about family violence's multifaceted impacts. All services and programs balance accountability with healing and compassion, operating from holistic, trauma-informed principles.
